We’ve been remiss in showing off this site as it’s been up for quite some time, but we’ve updated bigpossibilities.ca recently and it’s time to show a little of our work! It’s got a cool horizontal scrolling format and some gorgeous photography by Daniel Banko.
The concept was simple: Working with the City of Summerside, we created a campaign around embracing their small size rather than trying to present themselves on par with big urban centres.
In our view, small means great things: Lower operating costs for business, safe streets and schools, and the opportunity to have more balance in your life. At the same time, we are impressed over and over by the ambition and entrepreneurial spirit of this city of 15,000. It’s quite the combination.
To illustrate the “strength” in small, we used real Summerside kids and statements like “When you’re small, the possibilities are endless”, or “Small means you can be anything you want to be”.
Hey – it’s true of kids right? Why can’t the same be said for a small city?
